I welcome guest bloggers! If you’d like to submit a post for potential publication, please read the following thoroughly so you understand the expectations and agreement of being a guest blogger.
General Guidelines
:: Your post must be original content, written by you, and not previously published elsewhere {including your own website.} You are free to post it on your site or offer it to others 30 days after I post it on the Financially Smitten blog.
:: If your post is accepted, you consent to the full article, extracts, samples or examples appearing in other Financially Smitten products and/or services, obviously with full attribution to you as the author.

The Financially Smitten blog aims to enlighten and inspire readers with practical, helpful, and actionable information that brings readers significant benefits. Some areas to consider are:

The sharing of personal, inspiring stories of someone’s journey to being more financially smitten are also welcome.
If you are not already familiar with the blog’s content, take some time to review a few posts to get a good feel for the type of information that is provided.
Post Title
Please include a title for your post. I try to encourage readership with enticing headlines. I reserve the right to create a headline or edit your headline for your post.
Post Length
:: Posts should be approximately 600 words. If there is a topic that requires greater length, please contact me so we can discuss if it makes sense to do a two-part post.
:: Please use questions and/or thought provoking commentary/point of view to end the post so readers are encouraged to engage in conversation and commentary.
Special Offers to the Financially Smitten Community
Special and/or exclusive offers to the Financially Smitten readership are very welcomed! Please contact me directly if you would like to offer any free resources {an ebook, a sample chapter, a worksheet, etc.} to accompany the post and/or if you are willing to offer a special discount on a product or service.

If you are a first time guest blogger, please provide a short professional biography to be included with your post (2-3 sentences, including the link you would like to include so people can get more info about you–typically your website}.
Accompanying Images & Media
:: Feel free to include an image with your post, which can be stock photos, logos, videos, images from websites, screenshots, etc.
:: Images must include accurate attribution.
:: Images must be clear and crisp.
:: The final decision on picture selection is mine.
Sharing the Wealth
:: Once your post is published, I ask that you share about your Financially Smitten guest post on your blog, mailing list, Facebook page, website, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
